Event Details

I have stage 4 pancreatic cancer and will be walking to raise much needed funds for pancreatic cancer research because we need to improve the outcomes for people diagnosed with this disease.  Recently pancreatic cancer was removed from the Rare Cancers list and placed on the Common Cancers list.

Not many people know pancreatic cancer is the 3rd leading cause of cancer deaths in Australia with a very low survival rate of only 12.2%.

The disease receives little or no funding because it has been placed in the “too hard” basket for many years but those affected by pancreatic cancer deserve an equal chance of survival to those diagnosed with other high profile cancers.

Please support me as I put my foot down to raise money for pancreatic cancer research.

Thank you!
